The various engineering colleges are affiliated with Anna University for applicants and applicants who wish to be admitted to these universities can complete the online application form. There is no offline mode available for candidates.
The form can be completed on the official TNEA website. Through this content, applicants will be able to learn detailed TNEA information including TNEA counseling, counseling dates, counseling procedure, etc. The university will not organize any entrance exam.
TNEA 2021 Counselling – Started
TNEA 2021 Counselling
Registration for the TNEA 2021 board will begin on September 15, 2021. and these applicants are shortlisted from the merit list by the admissions committee, only they can attend the counseling process at the counseling site.
All successful candidates must attend the counseling procedure with the necessary documentation. At the Chennai campus, counseling will be offered to applicants.
Based on the availability of places, verification of documents, list of merits, the allocation of places will be done during the counseling session. Applicants will receive the call for advice letter through the online mode.
The cutoff of TNEA 2021 will be published after the result. Passing scores are the minimum scores that Anna University will set to shortlist applicants for the next steps in the admissions process.

TNEA 2021 Counselling Call letter
The admissions authority will offer the TNEA notice letter to shortlisted applicants on their email id.
Applicants must upload the letter of convocation in which the date, time and address of the meeting will be mentioned for the applicants. Applicants should bring the hard copy of the appeal letter as future proof.
Applicants must bring the appeal letter to the counseling center and applicants must be present at the counseling location.
Applicants should check the following steps mentioned below. Counseling will take place in offline mode.
Applicants must attend counseling in person or allow their parents or guardians to attend in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Payment of TNEA Counseling fee
Applicants must pay the counseling fee at the bank counter due to the statement at the counseling center. Applicants must submit the appeal letter to pay the fee. At the bank counter, the commission will be remitted.
Students will receive the bank’s receipt for the fee payment during the counseling session. The receipt or photocopy of the challan must be made by the candidates for future use.
These students did not receive the appeal letter; They must be presented two hours before the start of the counseling session with their original documents for verification.

Verification of Documents at Counseling
Applicants must bring all required documents to the counseling center after paying the document verification fee.
- Applicants must organize their certificates for verification and only one person can accompany applicants to the counseling center.
- All verification documents must be original and after that, applicants can proceed to the next procedure.
- After successful verification, applicants will be selected for admission to Anna University.
- These will not be eligible or will find no discrepancies; applicants will be rejected at the consultation center.

TNEA Seat Allotment
Depending on the classification of applicants, the seat will be available to them after pre-screening and during the counseling session, applicants must select between 5 and 10 college options depending on the branch in the required field. Candidates must choose three options, one of which is subject to availability.
Students must retrieve the order of assignment in the order of assignment section after seat assignment and in that order of assignment; applicants should consult the course and universities
Before the last registration date, applicants must submit the order of assignment to the respective college.
Admission will be in seven categories such as OC, BC, BCM (BC Muslim), MBC & DNC, SC, SCA and ST reserve. The Tamil Nadu government has established these rules, which candidates must follow.
