KIITEE is the university level entrance exam, which is administered by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, and this exam is fully known as the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Exam.

KIITEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria

These students will apply for the KIITEE exam; they should have to verify their eligibility criteria before applying. The details of the eligibility criteria are mentioned below.

Under Graduate Courses

  • For B.Tech (4 years)/ B.Tech & M.Tech (Dual Degree) Biotechnology (5 years)
  • Applicants who have passed 10 + 2 in 2018, 2019 or have taken 10 + 2 standard exams in 2021 are eligible to apply for B.Tech (4 years), B.Tech & M.Tech. (Double degree) (Biotechnology) in the University course.
  • Applicants must have studied in regular formal education full time at their school/university.
  • Applicants must have passed 10 + 2 or its equivalent with at least 60% grades in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics together.
  • Applicants must have been born on or after July 1, 1999.

B.Tech. & M.Tech. (Dual Degree) (Biotechnology):

Applicants must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent with at least 60% grades in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology / Biotechnology together.

B.Tech.-LE (3 years)

  • Applicants must have completed 3 years of engineering degree courses with at least 60% of total grades from the State Board of Technical Education or equivalent.
  • To be admitted to the lateral technical entry (3 years), candidates must have obtained the 3-year diploma in the same branch.
  • Applicants must have been born on or after July 1, 1999.

For B.Tech in Architecture (5 years)

  • Applicants must have passed 10 + 2 and achieved a 60% overall grade with math as the core subject and passed the National Architectural Aptitude Test (NATA).
  • Applicants must have been born on or after July 1, 1999.

For B.Sc Nursing (4 years)

  • Passed 10 + 2 or equivalent in Chemistry, Physics and Biology and English (PCBE)., And achieved at least 45% of the marks in total.
  • The minimum age for an applicant to be admitted to the B.Sc. Breastfeeding is 17 years old and the maximum age is expected to be 35 years as of December 31, 2021.

For B.A. LL.B / BBA LL.B / B.Sc LL.B (5 years)

  • Applicants must have completed 10 + 2 or equivalent with at least 45% grades in any branch.
  • Applicants must not have reached the age of 21 before July 1, 2019.

For B.Sc LL.B

  • Candidates must have obtained at least 45% of the grades in 10 + 2 or the equivalent in the Science component.
  • Applicants must not be 21 years old as of July 1, 2019.

For BBA (3 years)

  • Applicants must have obtained at least 50% 10 + 2 grades in any branch with Business Math / Mathematics / Economics / Statistics as one of the subjects.
  • Applicants must have been born on or after July 1, 1999.

For BCA (5 years)

  • Applicants must have passed 10 + 2 in any branch with at least 50% grades, but mathematics is one of the subjects at the 10 + 2 level.
  • Applicants must have been born on or after July 1, 1999.

For Bachelor of Design (Fashion / Textile) (4 years)

  • Applicants must have achieved the 10 + 2 standards with scores of 50% overall in any stream.
  • Applicants must have been born on or after July 1, 1999.

For the Bachelor of Film and Television Production (3 years)

  • Applicants must have earned 10 + 2 with 50% total grades in any stream.
  • Applicants must have been born on or after July 1, 1999.

Master in Mass Communication (Integrated) (5 years)

  • Applicants must have passed 10 + 2 with 50% of total grades in any sequence.
  • Applicants must have been born on or after July 1, 1999.

For MCA (3 years)

  • Applicants must have a degree with a minimum of 50% points or equivalent in which mathematics is a required subject, either at the 10 + 2 standard or graduation.
  • Applicants must have been born on or after July 1, 1999.

For MCA (L.E) (2 years)

  • Applicants must have obtained or pursued BCA, B.Sc. (IT / Informatics / IST / ITM) with a minimum of 50% grades from any recognized university.
  • Applicants must have been born on or after July 1, 1999.

For M.Tech (2 years)

  • To be admitted to M.Tech, applicants must have earned their B.E. or B.Tech. Or an equivalent degree in the respective branches of Engineering and Technology with a first-class equivalent or CGPA or a first-class MCA / M.Sc. first class in (Comp / IT / ETC).
  • Applicants who have qualified GATE will be given preference in the selection process.
  • Candidates who wish to be admitted to M.Tech (2 years) must have studied B.E./B.Tech. in the same branch that interests them.
  • Qualified GATE applicants with a score of 400 or higher do not need to apply for KIITEE.

M.Sc (Biotechnology / Applied Microbiology) (2 years)

  • Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following branches: Pharmacy / Science / Veterinary / Agriculture / Engineering / Technology / Medicine (MBBS / BDS) with at least 55% grades.
  • Applicants must have been born on or after July 1, 1999.

Master of Nursing (2 years)

  • The candidate must be a midwife or registered nurse or equivalent on any National Nursing Registration Board.
  • Applicant must have completed a Bachelor of Nursing / Honors Bachelor of Nursing / Bachelor of Basic Nursing with a minimum of 55% overall grades. (5% relaxation for SC / ST candidates).
  • Applicant must have completed a Bachelor of Nursing / Honors Bachelor of Nursing / Basic Bachelor of Nursing from an institution recognized by the Indian Council of Nursing.
  • The candidate must have at least one year of work experience after a basic nursing degree and must be in good medical condition.

For Master of Public Health (2 years)

  • Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline in Health Sciences (BDS / BAMS / BPT / MBBS / BHMS BNYS / B.Sc Nursing (Basic or Post Basic) /B.Pharm/) with a minimum of 50% of the total grades from a recognized university.

For the master’s degree in hospital administration (2 years)

  • Applicant must have a qualified college degree in BHMSBNYS / BPT / MBBS / BDS / B.Pharm / BAMS / B.Sc Nursing (Basic or Post Basic) / B.Sc in Allied Health Sciences / degree a minimum of 50% total business / arts / science / law grades from a recognized university.

Integrated Dual Degree M.Sc. & Ph.D. Program (5 years) (Applied Physics/Applied Chemistry/Mathematics and Data Sciences)

  • Applicants must have a B.Tech./B.Sc./B.E. or an equivalent diploma with at least 60% of the marks; Students with a college degree with physics/mathematics/chemistry as a core subject or engineering graduates with a strong aptitude for the above fields can apply. Applicants who are continuing their studies can also apply.

For Ph.D.

  • Applicants must have an MCA / MBA / M.Tech / ME or equivalent master’s degree with a minimum of 60% of grades or an equivalent or equivalent degree from CGPA or M.Com / LLM / M.Sc./ MA with a minimum of 55% of grades.
