How to Fill NIFT 2021 Application Form – Step By Step Guide Available Here

Registration for NIFT 2021 will begin the fourth week of October 2020 for Indian and NRI applicants. The full form of NIFT is the National Institute of Fashion Technology.

The entrance exam is organized by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).

Through this exam, candidates can be admitted to various UG and PG courses in the field of fashion and technology. Applicants can be admitted to the B.Des, B.F.Tech, M.Des, and MFM programs.

How To Apply Application Form 2021

Applicants can submit their application online at www.nift.ac.in. For this purpose, the guidelines for applying can be found online. The brochure is available free of charge on the NIFT website www.nift.ac.in. The application fee must be paid through an online payment gateway or by a bank draft issued in favor of “NIFT HO” payable in New Delhi.

  • Non-refundable rate for general category / OBC (not creamy): Rs. 2000 / – via payment gateway or project on demand.
  • Non-refundable rate for SC / ST / PWD category: Rs. 1000 / – through the payment gateway or the project on demand.
  • Application fee payment method: credit/debit cards and demand money

Applicants are advised to carefully check the following details before submitting the draft application

  • DD in favor of “NIFT HO”,

NIFT 2021 Application Form Step by Step Filling

The completed form should arrive at the above address on time. Incomplete or late forms will not be accepted. The Institute does not assume any responsibility in case of delay or loss of forms or correspondence in transit by mail or courier. Applicants are encouraged to keep a copy of the print and draft application for future reference.

Applicants are encouraged to keep a hard copy/photocopy of the application form for future reference along with proof of payment.

Application fees already paid will not be refunded in case the application is not eligible for NIFT admissions after editing/updating the application form.

It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to provide correct information during the application process. At any time, if it turns out that the information provided by the applicant is not true, NIFT has the right to cancel her application. Any direct or indirect attempt to influence the management and employees of the institute will result in the automatic disqualification of the candidate.

The review process

All eligible applicants are expected to go through a review process. The process for each program is listed separately below:

1.Race

For applicants for UG Design programs, the selection process includes a written exam comprising a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT), followed by a situation test to be taken by shortlisted applicants from the ‘written exam.

2.Technical course

For applicants to the UG Fashion Technology program, the selection process includes a written exam that includes a General Aptitude Test (GAT).

3.Des Course

For applicants to the PG Design program, the selection process includes a written exam comprising a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT) followed by a group discussion and personal interview (GD / PI) for candidates shortlisted for the written exam.

M.F.M. Class

For the MFM program, the selection process includes a written test that includes a General Aptitude Test (GAT) followed by a group discussion and a personal interview (GD / PI) for shortlisted candidates for the written test.

M.F technology course

For the M.F.M program, the selection process includes the written test comprising a General Ability Test (GAT) followed by a group discussion and a personal interview (GD / PI) for candidates shortlisted for the written exam.

Written exam (for all programs)

Depending on their choice of the city, all eligible candidates must sit for the written entrance exam at their chosen exam centers. The written entrance exam is designed to assess the knowledge, skills, and abilities of candidates for the chosen program.

List of test centers

A paper test (PBT) will be conducted for all UG and PG programs in the second week of January 2021 in 32 cities.

The candidate can only select ONE city for the exam in the second week of January 2021. No request for a change of exam center will be accepted at any time.
