GCET 2021 Exam pattern
As mentioned above, the GCET 2021 exam template is designed to assess candidates’ ability to solve complex questions in the shortest time possible.
DTE Goa believes in maintaining the confidence of the candidates and therefore there are no negative test scores. Each correct answer adds 1 point to your final score. The GCET 2021 exam template by subject is as follows:

Marking Scheme in GCET 2021
The scoring system for any exam is established to decide the marks assigned to each question. The GCET exam scoring system tracks +1 for each correct answer, and no marks are deducted for incorrect answers.
Questions that are not attempted on the GCET exam do not affect the candidates’ total scores. Each question is equally important on the exam.
- Correct Response: +1 marks
- No Negative Marking
The marking scheme mentioned above is followed in each section. Candidates who achieve the best results according to the scoring system will be considered the best in the exam. All qualified applicants will be ranked on a merit list based on the scores obtained on their GCET 2021 exam.
A total of 75 questions will be asked in each article.
2 hours will be devoted to each part of the exam. No negative rating is given for any answer or wrong answer.
1 point will be awarded for each correct answer. The question posed will consist of multiple-choice questions. The question posed will come from the subjects of the mathematics, biology, physics, and chemistry program.
- Several questions: Each article will contain 75 questions.
- Exam duration: Two hours will be allowed for each test.
- Negative mark: there is no negative mark.
