Exam Mode

The AEEE exam is conducted in both modes, namely, Computer Examination Mode (CBT) and Paper and Pencil Test (PPT). CBT is in online mode and PPT is in offline mode.

When completing the application form, applicants should choose the exam mode according to their preference.

All applicants must select only one exam mode, if they choose both they will be rejected.

Language

During the Amrita engineering entrance exam, the English language will be available to applicants and no other languages ​​will be used in this exam.

Duration

All the candidates who participated will have 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the work and only during this period will the candidates solve the complete questionnaire.

The computerized exam will run in a window of three to four days in different time slots and the offline exam will take place in a single day.

A section of the exam

Candidates must complete all sections of the exam and the sections are physics, chemistry, and mathematics, etc.

Questions under examination

For the Amrita University exam, there will be a total of 100 questions in the AEEE question document.

In the Physics and Chemistry section, there will be 30 questions and in Mathematics, there will be 40 questions to answer.

The questions will be of an objective type, such as multiple-choice questions, and the candidates must choose a correct answer from four options.

All questions must necessarily be attempted by the candidates.

Scale

Modes of Exam

AEEE Computer Based Test Mode (CBT)

Amrita University will publish the AEEE computerized exam to be conducted the fourth week of April 2021 for phase I and phase II.

These candidates want to prefer this exam mode, they must prepare with their computer for this exam.

  • In the computer system, this exam will be organized for the candidates.
  • There will be 100 multiple choice questions to be asked during the exam in online mode

AEEE 2021 Paper & Pencil Based Test Mode (P&P)

The AEEE pencil and paper exam will be held in July / August 2021 in Tamil Nadu only. The offline mode exam can have all four different versions available.

  • The AEEE question document can include 100 multiple question documents.
  • Answers must be marked on a printed OMR answer sheet
  • Applicants must bring a black pen, HB pencils, a pencil sharpener, and an eraser.
